AHEAD provides affordable housing and housing-related services throughout Northern New Hampshire. The organization manages more than 500 affordable and subsidized rental homes, including properties in Littleton, and provides assistance with rental applications and housing questions. The Town of Littleton Welfare Department provides assistance to eligible Littleton residents who are unable to meet essential needs. Municipal welfare assistance is governed by New Hampshire law and the Town's welfare guidelines. Applicants are generally expected to pursue other available sources of assistance and provide documentation of income, expenses, housing costs, and other circumstances.
